Last Sunday was the big adidas event "Run for Love." It was indeed a day full of love and oh... mud too! There were a few consective days of rain and the field in Bishan Park, where the event was held, became a pool of mud! At the event, the children were definitely the main stars and we were the game leaders for them, and they were adorable. For my team, there were only three people. A guy from adidas, Shamini (the child obviously) and me, and she was treated like a princess throughout the day when we went round to the different stations playing the games. Hmmm... but the two adults were also contemplating to put her in the Dunking Pool instead of us when it turned out to be one of our stations... of course we did not actually do it?! Eventually we gave up on that station as none of us wanted to get wet?!
The youth team at "Run for Love." The day before they also played their second match in the Junior League and they beat their opponent, Acier Junior with a good margin. If my old brain remembers correctly it was something like 70 something to 20 something.
Jiao Lian came to "Run for Love" in shorts! He was also there to bring us "Ham Tsim Bang."
